Opportunity to advance within the company. Overview of the Role: The Staff Accountant at our Canada location is responsible for the daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of the company, and support the monthly financial reporting process related to the preparation of the financial statements. Specific Responsibilities: Regular attendance Responsible for all accounts payables and receivables functions including collection of accounts. Maintain all returned goods (RGA’s) and communicate with consumer and customer care the required documentation Assist with the timely and accurate completion of the monthly and year-end closing process Assist with monthly reconciliations of trial balance accounts – AR/AP/Bank reconciliation Assist in the Annual Budget Process Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned Reports to the Canadian Controller Performs other duties as assigned Successful Candidate Profile : Experience with preparing journal entries and account work papers/reconciliations SAP experience preferred Candidate must possess a University Degree or College Diploma A minimum of 3+ years of professional.
