Volt is immediately hiring Service Technician in MIDDLETOWN, Pennsylvania 17057As a Service Technician your Responsibilities will beKey Responsibilities Maintain superior technical knowledge and skills through continuous professional development by studying and reviewing on-line repair manuals, schematics, and technical files. Perform high quality repairs to client's products through proper problem diagnosis and application of prescribed corrective measures while utilizing appropriate tools and systems. Use hand scanners to receive, diagnose, pick spare parts, repair, and complete the repair of Clients tools. Conduct final functional and safety testing after every repair to ensure customer safety. Through continuous inventory, accurate picking of spare parts, and identifying and increasing inadequate safety stock levels, assist in maintaining adequate parts inventory and ensuring best[1]in-class repair service to Client's customers. Assist Senior Repair Technician in maintaining rapport and communication through daily contact with customers and/or sales personnel. Travel to participate in Tool Repair Workbench Summits to assist with benchmarking repairs, reducing cost of goods sold, and standardizing repairs throughout the repair network. Provide data and information to Client's quality and product managers that are used to identify potential improvements to the overall quality and safety of Clients tools Maintain work areas, tools, and assigned equipment in a proper, organized order thus enabling the incumbent to perform the job in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.Location: MIDDLETOWN, Pennsylvania 17057Duration: 5 months Shift: 1st shift Pay: $20/hr -$22.50/hr Hourly *Pay range offered to a successful candidatewill be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
