Summary Westminster is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager who will serve as a support to our Kitchen Manager. The Assistant Manager will help in meal productions, planning meals, and health and safety practices. This position is for Early Childhood programs serving children 6 weeks to 12 years old. Duties Assist and executing food prep and dish planning for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and behavior. Assist in documentation and structure of kitchen operations, including meeting CACFP requirements, completing food orders, prepping meals, etc. Ensure health and safety standards are met. Among other duties given by the Kitchen Manager or Preschool Site Director. Work Monday-Friday Assist in providing breaks for teachers Requirements High School Diploma Valid Driver's License Pass background check Complete ILEAD Training (Early Childhood State Requirements) Experience around food service, prep, and handling Nice To Haves SafeServ certification 2 years of food service, prep, and handling experience
