About the Role: As a Plant Transformation Research Associate, you will play a crucial role in our mission to enhance crop yields and sustainability. You will work closely with senior scientists to conduct experiments, maintain plant cultures, and generate valuable data that will drive our discovery and production goals. This position offers hands-on experience in cutting-edge plant biotechnology and the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research. Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior scientists to perform all aspects of plant cell culture and transformation Employ exceptional sterile techniques and proficiency in working within a laminar flow hood Maintain impeccable laboratory practices and database tracking for all projects Effectively communicate research progress and results to team members Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or equivalent Hands-on experience in plant cell culture and transformation preferred Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute project tasks independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Authorization to work in the United States Location: Plastomics is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, a hub for agricultural biotechnology innovation.
