PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Coordinate with the Research team to determine viable prospectsManage solicitation and renewal processDraft acknowledgment letters and other correspondence for Members and prospectsPrepare materials for internal cultivation, solicitation, and strategy meetingsSchedule, prepare materials for (including invitations, brochures, agendas etc.), and assist with follow-up for the Council Groups' meetings, events, and other programmingCommunicate with Met Trustee leadership of each group regarding their many questions and ideas around programmingManage stewardship for Members including organizing eventsOrganize travel for relevant Met colleagues as they relate to the Council GroupsMaintain and update Tessitura database recordsWork closely with Met departments including Legal, Design, Curatorial, Special EventsOther related duties relating to ensuring a responsive team effort at the service of the Council Groups REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePrevious Development experience strongly preferredProven excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail is criticalMust be highly motivated, proactive, and able to function in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work well with others, as well as independentlyMust be able to work morning and evening eventsComputer literacy (Microsoft Office) required; knowledge of databases preferred COMPENSATION RATE: Pay Rate: $39.00 / HourlyThe advertised pay scale reflects the good faith minimum and maximum salary range for this role.
