The Director is responsible for all aspects of Community program operations and Career Services, whose objective is to ensure that those who we serve have the opportunity to live their lives in a way which maximizes autonomy. These Living Services programs are expected to facilitate the inclusionary components of a uniquely diversified population and to obtain, maintain and advance the careers of our clients. Responsibilities: Relationship/Partnership development and collaboration with; State agencies, including but not limited to DHS, ODDS, APD, VR, Other IS Living programs and directors, Other local agencies and transition programs, Local businesses, and Member associations. Be a leader in the community outreach to ensure maximum visibility and participation in the communities that IS Living operates. Defining strategic goals for Day Support Activity programs in both the facility and community. Maintain licensing requirements and compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and Oregon Administrative Rules; ensure timely and accurate program documentation; draft corrective action plans; and implement compliance processes. Oversee program development, quality enhancements and external/internal compliance. Implementation and monitoring of viable systems for program safety, equipment maintenance and replacement, and supply inventory. Provides leadership for direct reports and oversight of those with supervision and employee relations. Participates in organizing community meetings and events including fundraisers. Assist in contract procurement, budget development and implementation, including budget management, and variance reporting. Responsible for the financial performance of individual programs; complete purchasing of program supplies; and review and submit billing compliance documentation. Establish and manage relations with individuals receiving services, families and guardians; implement individual enhancement plans as appropriate. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably Community relations, education, psychology, social services, nursing and/ or sensorial therapies, or related field, from an accredited program, and 2 years of progressive managerial experience in community or more than ten years of progressive managerial experience with at least 7 of those years in community DD programs, preferably residential services, with the ability to demonstrate forward thinking in program development and with training and/or experience in the following areas: working with persons living with intellectual disabilities, long and short-term support planning, behavior management, employment training, development of marketing tools and activities, technical and report writing, alternative communication and adaptive equipment. Experience with evaluation and program planning for adults with intellectual and/ or developmental disabilities or brain injury Exceptionally organized and disciplined Possesses well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to direct and motivate others in a supportive and cooperative team environment Able to coordinate with management, cross functional teams, and vendors in the execution of daily tasks and functions Excels at organizing, facilitating presentations and creating, improving and implementing systems/ processes Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, Visio, Email and Internet applications Possess current driver's license OIS oversight certification which includes administrative review of the use of physical intervention.
