The Production Manager is the person directly responsible for overseeing the daily operations and develops strategies to ensure it meets production goals at minimal cost. What you will do as the Production Manager: Work directly with department heads to coordinate production and distribution activities and ensure smooth daily operations Train supervisors and administrators, give performance reviews, institute employee policies and procedures and motivate staff to meet or exceed production goals Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees and communicate about performance expectations Hire and onboard new staff Give useful feedback to employees Test and monitor plant processes Prepare and analyze production and performance reports; determine KPIs and measure them on a regulus basis Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives Participate in various activities related to safety, quality,.
