City of Quincy Job Description JOB TITLE: Fire & Police Commission DATE: April 2024 DEPARTMENT: Fire & Police FLSA STATUS : Non- Exempt Title: Board of Fire and Police Commission SecretaryPay: $350 gross per monthHours: 10-15 hours per month GENERAL JOB DUTIES: Secretary supports the City of Quincy's Board of Fire and Police Commission (BFPC) administrative matters. Coordinates BFPC monthly meetings with the city, BFPC commissioners and public safety departments. Schedules a conference room for BFPC monthly meetings. Records general and executive sessions monthly meetings. Prepares monthly meetings minutes. Establishes BFPC monthly meeting folders for the three commissioners with pertinent meeting documents. Maintains firefighter and police officer personnel records. Maintains firefighter and police officer new candidate and promotional lists. Coordinates with the Comptroller for BFPC budget products and processing of invoices. Manages all BFPC documents on the I-Cloud. Coordinates BFPC semi-annual training attendance.
