Physical Therapist - Residency Site Coordinator- SCS

Overview: The Physical Therapist - Residency Site Coordinator will be responsible for the successful coordination and delivery of the sports and/or orthopedic residency program in a local geography. This is an advanced career path Physical Therapist that partners across functional teams to elevate the practice standards of the local geography. Responsibilities: Residency Specific Responsibilities--- Participate in the recruitment and interviewing of residency candidates.--- Assist in regular reporting to maintain residency credentialing.--- Conduct mentoring and mentor observation and evaluation.--- Facilitate specialty observation with physicians and specialty providers.--- Provide didactic and lab instruction and recruit and schedule other instructors to conduct didactic and lab sessions.Clinical Responsibilities and Expectations--- Performs evaluations and establishes a goal-based plan of care--- Implements regular objective reassessment points to track progress towards goal achievement and/or adjusts goals based on patients' recovery trajectory--- Establishes care plans aligned to ATI Best Practice guidelines, to achieve predictable and positive outcomes--- Manages his/her Caseload effectively, across the spectrum of each patient's plan of care--- Effectively delegates treatment among the clinical care team--- Meets or exceeds established performance expectations, including patient outcomes collection targets, scheduling practices, productivity, caseloads management, and documentation compliance--- Communicates effectively and regularly with referral sources and other relevant stakeholders in a patient's plan of care (e.g., physician, family members/ caregivers, case manager, attorney, etc)--- Assists with daily clinic operational needs and tasks Qualifications: Minimum EducationRequired:--- Doctorate (DPT) or Clinical BS or MS in physical therapy with five years of clinical experiencePreferred:--- Minimum ExperienceRequired:--- Must have served as instructor in entry level or post professional physical therapist education--- 5+ years' experience as a licensed PT in an outpatient settingPreferred:--- Prior service as a residency director (OCS or SCS) or site coordinator roleKnowledge Skills and Abilities--- Strong cross-stakeholder partnership and collaboration skills--- Advanced presentation skills--- Persuasive and influential, a champion for clinical advancement--- Establishes self as leader for the patient care team--- Engaged, positive energy in work approach, serving as a valued team member for the clinic and district--- Designs and structures treatment plans to enable best possible patient outcomes, leveraging tools, resources and care team personnel effectively--- Delegates care amongst the care-team effectively based on case complexity classification to enable all members of the care team to practice at the top of their license--- Ability to effectively manage a care episode across a caseload of patients--- Ability to set objective and achievable goals--- Ability to adjust treatment plans based on patient outcomes data and measurable progress--- Demonstrates best practices with patient schedule management--- Strong communication skills, written and verbal--- Team player across the clinic and district--- Flexible and adaptable to appropriately service patient needs and contribute to positive experience and outcomes--- Completes work tasks in a timely and accurate manner--- Operates with integrity - ensures work contributes positively to ATI's standards and practices, all within Compliance guidelinesLicenses and CertificationsRequired:--- Must hold board clinical certification (OCS, SCS)--- Licensed physical therapist in the state where they are servingPreferred:--- FAAOMPT credential for Orthopedic residency sites--- Athletic Trainer for Sports residency sites Virtual Employee?: No
