Company Operating Name: Carson Air Ltd Business Address: : 6095 Airport Way, Kelowna BC, V1V 1S1 Work Location: 4245 Hangar Rd Prince George, BC V2N 4M6 Position Title & number of Vacancies: Mechanical systems aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) - NOC 72404, 3 vacancies Wage: 36.50 to 41.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per Week Terms of employment: Permanent , Full-time Languages English Education Other trades certificate or diplomaor equivalent experience Experience5 years or more Work site environment Noisy At heights Outdoors Work setting Aviation/aerospace repair and overhaul Responsibilities Job Duties Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures Inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing maintenance, repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble Perform and document routine maintenance Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions Knowledge of licensing regulations Credentials Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses AME «M» License - Aircraft Experience and specialization Preferred Aircraft experience B300 King Air, B1900, PT6 Engine, Cessna 172 Structural repair experience - aircraft Aircraft structures - general Type of industry experience: Repair and overhaul facility Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Aircraft maintenance - general Additional.
