Job description Landscape Technician, Part-TimeRoles and Responsibilities: Perform tasks as assigned by management including but not limited to, mowing, planting, trimming, mulching, edging, and blowing. Efficient routing of assigned daily work. Occasionally drives company vehicle to customer location. Ensure individual service/production goals are met. Provide quality service to customers. Maintains positive morale among personnel and actively promotes teamwork. Completes daily jobs assigned. Works with manager to identify ways to increase customer satisfaction. Ensures that vehicle is loaded efficiently for assigned work load. Manage inventory on vehicle, both product & equipment. Regularly inspect trucks & equipment for operation, and cleanliness. Proper use and care of equipment provided by EnCam Landscaping. Attends team meetings. Interacts with customers in a positive manner. Complies with policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Assist in maintaining a safe workplace. Must have reliable transportation both to and from work. Skillset Needed: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong customer-service focus. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to communicate effectively with front line staff and their supervisors. Organized / Time management. Understanding and ability to read a map. Basic Mathematical skills to calculate figures. Ability to interpret a variety of instruction. (written, oral, diagram, or schedule form) Practical knowledge of service & safety standards. Preventative equipment maintenance. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk. Push and pull equipment. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving. Ability to works outdoors. Subject to weather conditions which may include extreme cold, extreme heat or wet conditions.
