We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist in Mental Health, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Milton Keynes, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As an Occupational Therapist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service. Whats in it for you as an Occupational Therapist: - An annual salary of £35,392 - The equivalent of 33 days annual leave including bank holidays - plus your birthday off - Free meals and parking - Wellbeing support and activities - Career development and training - Pension contribution - Life Assurance Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist: - Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to help the hospital bring together a unique approach to the delivery of care where the service user is embedded in the heart of all aspects of hospital life. - Be an effective team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Contribute to team meetings, attend ward rounds and professionals meetings where you will feedback on the service users progress to their community teams. - Complete backssments, plan sessions and implement intervention - Evaluate outcomes aligned to care plans - Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist: - BSc Hons or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration - RCOT membership is recommended.
