Position Summary: Join a leading logistics team as a Warehouse Order Selector in Shakopee, MN, through our staffing agency. Key Responsibilities: Core Duties: Efficiently select and fulfill customer orders using warehouse management systems and operate various warehouse equipment including riding pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts/high lifts. Support Functions: Manage tasks such as inventory storage, packing, and monitoring to ensure order accuracy and availability. Interpersonal Engagement: Address customer complaints promptly, maintaining high standards of service. Technical and Administrative Tasks: Handle shipping and receiving duties across all temperature zones, maintaining product integrity and safety. Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to safety standards and protocols, particularly when handling heavy objects and operating machinery. Flexibility for Role-Specific Tasks: Participate in cold storage shipping and receiving, with prior experience in this area considered a plus. Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role; forklift operation with certification required. Skills : Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and operating required machinery. Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching objects up to 60 pounds. Other Requirements: Experience in cold storage shipping and receiving is advantageous.
