Lassen State Veterans Nursing Home Saint Augustine,St. Johns County, FL Paid Hourly: 16.00 Paid Bi:weekly Train to be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Saint Augustine, Florida. *Tentative start date is June 3rd, 2024. With our Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program : Receive compensation while training.: Attend program and receive instruction in this field.: Join a field that expects a 17 percent growth now through 2024.: Learn to care for patients in a long:term care environment.: Guaranteed employment following the training program.: Be part of a medical team serving our Nation's Heroes Employment history and education must be verifiable. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: : Must attend class Monday : Friday between the hours of 8:00am : 4:30 pm during the training program.: Must be willing to work the 6:45 pm -7:15 amshift once the course is completed.: Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as scheduled once the course is completed.: Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: :Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and/orbe at least 18 years of age. This position is in the Other Personnel Services system.
