Physician- Family Practice Location: Fort Liberty Schedule: Between 6AM-6PM (Monday-Friday) Responsibilities: Included but not limited to All encounters must be completed, coded and closed within 72 hours Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by MTF Direct, perform or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of clinical privileges or responsibilities Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe a course of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges. Provide preventive and health maintenance care through education and counseling, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills. Order diagnostic tests as applicable and request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures, and providing in-service training to clinical staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols. Requirements and Experience BLS Certification Experience documenting patient encounter in electronic health record Board Eligible or Board Certified Successful completion of an internship/residency program License current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice medicine
