Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a visionary Director of Dining Services to lead dining operations for a high volume residential dining hall at Baylor University. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Leadership: Direct the day:to:day operations of a high:volume residential dining hall, overseeing managers, supervisors, and food service workers to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.Human Resources Management: Conduct HR functions including hiring, training, progressive counseling, and terminations, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where team members can thrive.Client and Customer Satisfaction: Maintain client and customer satisfaction for food quality and customer service, exceeding expectations and building strong relationships with stakeholders.Financial Management: Manage food and labor costs to ensure financial success and sustainability, implementing strategies to drive efficiency and profitability.Quality Assurance and Sanitation: Ensure adherence to QA and sanitation standards, fostering a safe and hygienic dining environment that prioritizes health and safety.Menu Development and Innovation: Collaborate with the management team to create nutritious and top:quality food for students, implementing new programs to enhance the dining experience.Adaptable Support: Embrace flexibility and adaptability, taking on additional duties as needed to support the overall success of the dining operation and contribute to the campus community.
