Vali is currently seeking candidates with a background in talent management, performance management, classification, career development, change management, communications or training to serve as a Human Capital Generalist supporting the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL. Essential job functions may include but not be limited to: Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development Provide HR program management support and communications Assist with HR-related actions, in/out processing, and other functions as needed Review, track, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments Track, analyze, edit, and report personnel actions related to recognition programs Facilitate receipt, distribution, and completion of certificates of eligibility to hiring officials, schedule interviews, and prepare and coordinate required personnel staffing packages Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices Thoroughly review policies and practices to maintain compliance Provide training support as needed Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Comprehend the use of metrics, trends, and work monitoring to ensure the completion of timely and quality work Update, draft, and research HR-related policies and documents Provide excellent customer service to the workforce Measure, track, and report results of current initiatives Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law Required Skills/Experience: Current or prior MDA or DoD experience required Proficiency with the organizations' Human Resource and talent management systems is a must Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, as well as time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate Ability to act with professionalism and confidentiality Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Desired Skills/Experience: Experience communicating with and training/presenting to leaders Education Requirement/Required Years of Experience: B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field of study or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Human Resource professional certifications are desirable Eligibility for higher labor categories is based on additional years of experience Clearance Requirement(s): Candidates for this position must be eligible to obtain/maintain a U.S. DoD Secret level security clearance; Candidates with an active Secret clearance preferred.
