PIPEFITTER Lubrizol Advanced Materials, a subsidiary of theLubrizol Corporationhas an immediate need forapipefitter at our Louisville, KY facility. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support all areas of the facility with pipe system installation and repair. - Assist with and/or perform repairs of mechanical equipment - Provide knowledgeable and accurate troubleshooting expertise for mechanical problems. - Perform required Preventative Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity Inspections of mechanical equipment, piping, and systems. - Update required documentation for PSM, Mechanical Integrity, andcomputerized maintenance managementsystem as needed. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - JourneymanPipefitter (equivalent experience and education considered) - Industrial background and experience - Ability to work with tools of trade - Computer proficiency in Windows and software related to maintenance systems - Ability to work independently or as a team member - Ability to read and understand engineering drawings related to maintenance activities - Take responsibility for own safety and work with minimal supervision - Must be willing to work any shift, overtime, holidays, and call:ins - No lifting or respirator restrictions -Effective communication skills CONSIDERED A PLUS: Welding experience/certifications on standard and/or exotic metals.
