We have a direct hire opportunity for an Inventory Director in Bothell at a company that specializes in pipe products for water and wastewater infrastructure. The company's pipe products are primarily sold to large distributors who serve municipal customers in cities and towns across America.In this role, oversee 4-5 direct reports including the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, manage the inventory of raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods, establish inventory level targets, and collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Planning, and Operations to meet these goals.Direct Hire Opportunity - Be on our client's payroll from Day 1!Salary and Shift Information: * Salary: $150-$160k/year with both annual and profit-sharing bonuses * 1st shift: 7 AM-3:30 PM; Monday-FridayJob Duties of the Inventory Director: * Provide direction and supervision to 4-5 direct reports including the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee their development * Oversee the inventory of raw materials, subassemblies, and finished goods to support customer service and operational productivity goals * Establishing inventory level targets and collaborating with Sales, Purchasing, Planning, and Operations to meet them * Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, production, and planning supervisors * Provide training and direction to employees to help them grow and succeed in their careers * Conducts performance evaluations and employee development plans * Convert the sales forecast into resource demands and work with Sales and Operations to create and maintain effective production and inventory plans. * Monitor and maintain inventory location control accuracy. * Ensure good flow and space utilization through by optimizing container types and quantities. * Continuously improve the cost-effectiveness of inventory labeling, transactions, and reporting. * Assist regional warehouses with their inventory requirements as neededBenefits of the Inventory Director: * Discretionary Profit-Sharing Bonus * Time Off (PTO) * Holidays * Medical, dental, and vision * Employer-paid medical plan option for employee-only coverage * Assistance Program (EAP) * Retirement Plan with Employer MatchingJob Requirements of the Inventory Director: * 5+ years of experience in materials management in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving metals, products, and machinery * Thorough knowledge of the principles of materials management * Extensive knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems * Time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates * Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems * Experience and skills in influencing, leading and directing individuals in multiple functional areas * Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills * Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills * Extensive experience with Microsoft SuiteAPPLY NOW!
