Northfield law firm has an immediate job opening to join our dedicated team as a legal assistant. Secretarial experience required. Hvistendahl, Moersch, Dorsey & Hahn (HvMDH) is a well-established general practice law firm in historic downtown Northfield, Minnesota. We have an immediate opening for a full-time legal assistant to work in our busy office. Legal experience is a plus, but not required. Business office secretarial experience is required.Working in a small law office our legal assistants are exposed to all aspects of managing legal files and office administrative tasks. Basic duties include answering phones, typing, filing, communication with clients, scheduling appointments, management of legal files, assist attorneys with drafting and editing legal documents, eService and eFiling with Minnesota Courts and tracking legal deadlines. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
