About the RoleThe Financial Advisory Consultant collaborates with our client delivery team and plays a critical role in achieving our company's mission, combining financial management expertise with emerging skills as a general business manager. This position is primarily client facing and focused on relationship management and driving business. This individual will work independently with clients to understand their business and leverage their team resources to provide strategic and operational leadership though the delivery of actionable data, information, and insights. Expectations & DutiesLeadership and Team Development· Build and develop the technical and leadership skills of your team through coaching, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.· Promote a culture of excellence, integrity, and client service within your team.Client Management· Build and manage strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and exceeding their expectations.· Lead and oversee complex audit engagements, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to professional standards.· Proactively identify and address client concerns, delivering solutions that add value and mitigate risk.Technical Expertise· Remain current on the latest developments in accounting standards, auditing methodologies, and industry trends.· Apply deep technical knowledge and judgment to complex accounting and auditing issues.· Identify and assess potential risks and recommend effective controls to clients.Business Development· Contribute to the firm's growth by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.· Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources and industry contacts.· Participate in thought leadership initiatives and industry events.Key Competencies Required for Success 1 Entrepreneurial focus 2 Learning agility 3 Functional/technical expertise 4 Team player 5 Written communication 6 Active listening 7 Results orientationRequired Education & Experience· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, computer science, or a related field· 5-7 years of professional experience in a Big Four Audit, National Accounting, Management Consulting, or Professional Services firm· Experience working with C-suite leadership in a consultative capacity· With a financial go-get in place, the ability to close potential business, augment existing projects, and cross-sell over our three Business Units Preferred Experience & Philosophy· CFA preferred· Foundation in accounting principles, financial statements, P&L's, and financial reporting · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling individuals to identify and assess business risks, review financial documents and statements for accuracy and completeness, and develop practical and innovative solutions to meet client needs· Precision and accuracy to produce financial information that is error-free and complies with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards· Written and verbal communication skills are to interact with clients, team members, and leadership· Ability to clearly articulate findings, recommendations, and results in a concise and professional manner· Strong commitment to providing clients with exceptional service and building long-term relationships, while always ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards· Proven establishment of a professional network that will yield a book of business and talent pipeline into the firmE78 Partners is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
