We work through our highly specialized practice areas to deliver excellent quality, impactful solutions based on data integrity.A DAY IN THE LIFEOur Environmental Science Intern position is located in USA-GA-Remote.As a key member of the Montrose Advisory Services - Ecosystem Economic Services team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:The Montrose Internship Program offers students and professionals early in their career opportunities across the United States to gain hands-on, meaningful work experience to enhance their education and professional aptitude. Our interns gain exposure to real projects while working side by side with senior staff. This temporary position is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2024 or later.The 12-week internship is scheduled to begin in May and end in September. The individual start date of the internship may be flexible.Your Work Support a variety of environmental science tasks with the goal of developing practical skills in the execution of a variety of technical skills. * Learn basic principles of Environmental Science. * Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis. * Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates. * Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation. * Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. * Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship. * Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
