We are looking for a passionate Business Office Manager who can help create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the community. SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Business Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal financial efficiency and effectiveness of our day-to-day operations. They will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive overall growth. With exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and keen attention to detail, they will be instrumental in implementing best practices. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in development and implementation of community policies and procedures to meet financial objectives Evaluate all aspects of business operations, including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation Manage community invoices and ensure timely and proper payments to the correct expense accounts Perform quality assurance for invoices, verifying orders and services received are as contracted Ensure new resident admission contracts are complete and filed per company policy and regulations Manage billing and payments of all resident accounts Oversee all new staff through hiring and onboarding, with corporate HR team Assist in documenting monthly financial statements in conjunction with the Executive Director Participate in community surveys (inspections) made by licensed government agencies When not performing business operations responsibilities, devote best efforts and full cooperation with the Executive Director in the overall operation of the property in accordance with the Management Plan approved by Gold Stream Retirement Communities. All other duties as assigned by Executive Director of the Senior Living Community. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Hire, train, lead and mentor the Concierge and Receptionist team. Ensure team follows company policies and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred A minimum of three (3) years prior experience, preferably in senior living and retirement communities A minimum of one (1) year prior supervisory experience, preferably in a senior living community or other related healthcare setting Must be able to pass a background check and eligible to work in a licensed senior living community. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions Proven track record of successful project and change management Expertise in computer applications Dependable vehicle for transportation
