They’ve developed hundreds of applications for clients in almost every vertical, delivering value-based innovation for cloud applications. Position Summary: The Developer will code, implement, and maintain web based applications. Sample applications might include project management tools, key business workflows and custom application workflows that integrate with data providers via RESTful APIs. This position provides an excellent opportunity to be a key contributor to our business success. They will also help build web applications that connect systems, automate administrative tasks, track performance, incorporate information, and create insights to support strategic decisions.They will work hands-on with a team of other software engineers, technology architects, project managers and client success specialists, utilizing cutting edge technologies to build the best products in the marketplace. Key Responsibilities: As a results-focused Self Starter, the Developer is responsible for hands-on development across multiple business applications and integrations in various states of the Software Development Life Cycle. The ideal candidate would possess 2-3 years of experience building and implementing software. They will work closely with business customers and the internal team. Technical Skills :· Mendix development experience preferred but not required · Mendix Rapid Certification (or higher) preferred· System thinker - knows how to organize data and workflow· Problem solver - can look at problems multiple ways· Experienced with - Data / Workflow Analysis Communication Skills: · Strong verbal and written communication skills· Able to ask leading and great questions· Able to negotiate with clients· Thought leadership- able to see the big picture to lead a client to a bigger/better solution· Client Management - Delight them with your abilities!· Empathy being able to see multiple sides Other Skills · Organized - excellent time management· Proactive· Teamwork - recognizes impact to the team· Ownership of work. Not afraid to take control and see to completion· Integrates with the company processes and culture Experience: · Negotiation: 3 years (Preferred)· Time Management: 3 years (Preferred)· Mendix Experience: 2-3 years (Preferred, not required)· Mendix Rapid Developer Certification (or higher): (Preferred) Key Qualifications: 2-3+ years of experience in the software industry Experience building web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript (Angular or Vue preferred), C#, Python, or cloud-native development; Node.js preferred Well versed in complex application architecture, comparing and contrasting technologies against middleware, BPM, SOA, 4GL, etc. Experience working with large datasets, or creating and managing databases Good understanding of the SaaS/PaaS and cloud market space Self-driven, independent, and accountable Detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity and an intense desire to succeed Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with both business and development teams Ability to vet business and technical requirements Willing to learn from and freely share knowledge with others, and comfortable participating in cross-functional teams Able to work independently or on a team, and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Natural problem solver with a strong awareness of risk Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and comfortable with initially undefined projects Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge Proactively identify opportunities for client upsell Experience with Process-driven applications i2i Workforce® is representing a Software Application Development company who is looking to fill this role.
