Job Details Job Location : Grants Pass Office - Grants Pass, OR Position Type : Full Time Education Level : 2 Year Degree Salary Range : $53,000.00 - $74,000.00 Salary Job Shift : Day Description Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Drug & Alcohol Counselor to join their Addiction Recovery Team! The ART Counselor is a certified clinical position. This person works out in the field to assist DHS clients in navigating barriers to maintaining their sobriety. Position provides direct client services, including screenings, assessments, evaluating level of care, diagnose for substance use criteria, screen for mental health symptoms, refer, treatment plan and document appropriately. The counselor demonstrates improving skill level and competent practice as reflected in supervisor review and QA. Counselor will provide counsel and support to patients suffering from drug or alcohol dependency, educate families in the best ways to help in the recovery process, and work with those participating in outpatient programs.Primary Responsibilities: Facilitates groups using education, discussion and group process. Focus on emotional / social / and family issues relevant to clients suffering with substance use disorders. Complete client documentation in a timely manner. Documentation to be completed within client's EMR. Provide regular status reports to referral sources and community partners. Unscheduled phone calls and emails may need to be sent/responded to referral sources and community partners. Some departments may require participating in the collection of UAs, utilizing agency protocol. Receives minimum 70% score on all Adapt provided training examinations. Attends staff meetings and development trainings as scheduled. Participates in clinical supervision, including group and individual observation, QA review of documentation, and personal goal tracking highlighted in yearly evaluation. Attends minimum of 2 hours individual or group supervision per month. Demonstrates improving competency as reflected by observation, clinical supervision and QA feedback. Completes work/documentation within designated timeframes. Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
