Oversees DLS activities such as developing new policies and procedures, recommending and/or implementing new systems and instrumentation. Ensures a quality laboratory product using established QI and QC principles with support from CHW main laboratory and DLS site. Acts as a liaison between CHW main laboratory and DLS site. Ensures compliance with all CLIA and JCAHO laboratory regulations. Position Requirements: Requires advance level of Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Hematology and Microbiology which is usually acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology plus ASCP or NCA certification and /or eligibility; Usually requires up to 2-3 years as a Generalist, a MT, American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
