Primary Role ***This position can report to any office within the Pennslylvania American Water footprint*** The successful candidate of the Senior Procurement Specialist : Construction will have experience working with Engineers to secure construction services for capital projects ranging in value from 50M to 150M. This position is expected to lead a project team through the sourcing, negotiation, and contract award process in support of the overall company capital plan. Seeking a talented individual with construction procurement experience who understands how to source, negotiate, and contract using various construction delivery models which drive to the lowest total cost of ownership. The Senior Procurement Specialist manages the sourcing of goods, services, and projects while continuously identifying and implementing opportunities to lower total cost of ownership. This position performs services on high level capital and expense categories or may manage a category of goods and services spend between 50M and 150M per year. This position is expected to make a contribution to meeting company total cost of ownership reduction goals. LI:JS1 Key Accountabilities:Prepare bid packages, statement of work documents, and requests (RFP/RFI) according to specifications and business requirements while supporting business with all commercial needs including dispute resolution and contract interpretation.:Build, lead, and maintain development of sourcing strategies from project identification through close:out including alternative sourcing
