Job Title: Machine Technician Top of Form Company: Radius Packaging Location: Delavan, WI Shift Schedule: Day Shift: 7 am to 7 pm (rotating- 4 days on 4 days off) Night Shift: 7 pm to 7 am (rotating- 4 nights on 4 nights off) Pay Range: Days: Starting at $22/hour Nights: Starting at $22/hour plus $1 night shift premium $500 Sign-On Bonus for days OR $1,000 Sign-On Bonus for nights *Rehires not eligible for bonus and Bonus cannot come through a recruiting agency* SUMMARY OF POSITION: At Radius Packaging we call our employees Members and believe that our Members are the heart of our business. Machine Technician Expectations: Operate blow-molding and injection molding machines Troubleshoot and adjust machines Perform routine maintenance Adhere to customer specifications and work safely Must demonstrate safe work practices and competency to drive a powered industrial truck JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate blow-molding machines Troubleshoot and adjust machines Perform routine maintenance Adhere to customer specifications and work safely Must demonstrate safe work practices and competency to drive a powered industrial truck Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and/or government agencies LEVEL 1: Run 1 molding machine platform and other support auxiliary equipment to ensure containers are produced within customer specification. A level 1 Machine Technician will perform routine and reactive equipment maintenance to increase productivity and uptime. Qualifications High School diploma or GED and equivalent reading, writing, basic math, and critical thinking skills. Must be 18 years or older. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and high level of comfort operating press machinery. Capable of working independently, self-sufficiently, and productively with little supervision. Eager to support fellow members in keeping the facility and its equipment clean, neat, and well-maintained. Familiarity with basic computer functions and Microsoft office applications. Experience using Apple iPad devices and applications preferred. Must be able to provide own basic set of tools. Must be able to work independently.
