Description:
Packaging Technician Location: Whitakers, NC Description: The candidate will be responsible for audits, acquiring PIV licenses to move skids, reports, working with the shipping team, and communicating with external warehouse teams. Under minimal supervision supports site-level packaging operations with activities ranging from daily packaging operational activities to implementing packaging-related changes that result in efficiency, cost saving and/or sustainability improvements. Manages site-level returnable packaging program by keeping an accurate inventory of all components within the program. Drive packaging engineer initiatives and collaborate with third party stakeholder to improve the returnable skid process efficiency. Education, Licenses, Certifications High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Experience with computer is preferred. Experience with forklift is preferred.
