iGov is looking for a Production Technician to add to our team. If you enjoy assembling equipment, parts and materials into approved equipment configurations and performing quality checks, this position could be for you!iGov has been in the IT government contracting world for over 26 years. As a systems integrator our vision is to continually evolve and diversify our customer base while hiring the best talent available.The Production Technician assembles equipment items, parts, and materials into approved equipment configurations using approved processes and procedures to meet established production schedules. The Production Technician verifies equipment inventories prior to assembling designated systems, follows approved processes for building equipment systems, and performs quality checks on completed products. You may be assigned to lead small teams of production personnel to accomplish assigned short-term production tasks such as assembling specific quantities and types of equipment systems. Additional authority may be granted as required to satisfy assigned responsibilities.In addition, the Technician will assemble/build designated equipment systems in accordance with the production schedule and guidance from the Production Manager:We are looking for someone who has had previou experience in production/assembly of equipment systems, as well as have knowledge of and capability to use hand tools and equipment. Additional experience includes the following strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and focused on high level quality, previous experience us MS Office Suite. Radio and communication euqipment skills along with metal fabrication/modications are all a plus, but not required.We offer a competitive benefits package.
