The ideal candidate should have over 10+ years of experience, a competitive attitude, exceptional communication and writing skills, and a proven track record of handling complex state and federal litigation matters with creativity and ethical integrity.Duties:Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings, including but not limited to construction disputes, insurance coverage disputes, first-party claims, and property litigation.Conduct legal research and analysis to provide clients sound legal advice and strategies.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes when appropriate.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases and meet deadlines.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Minnesota State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.Minimum of 10+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on litigation.Proven experience handling construction, insurance coverage, first-party, and property litigation matters.Strong understanding of state and federal civil procedure rules and litigation processes.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and client confidentiality.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Minnesota State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal drafting.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.Strong organizational and time management skills.
