Test Technician (Electronics/Optics)Location: Bothell, WA (98021)Job ID: #69235Pay Range: $25 - $35Shift: 4days/10hrs Focus in: Electronics' or OpticsExperience: Electronics/Optics Testing 1-2+yrs, Cable Harnessing 1+yrs, Soldering On-Site work OnlyUS Citizenship or US Persons Status requiredTHE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.SUMMARY* Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.* Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.* Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.* Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. * Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.Required Experience/Skills:* Experience in Cable Wire Harness Build & Routing.* Mechanical assembly history and familiarity building and testing electrical systems and circuit boards.* Educational background and/or experience in electronics or optics.* Experience running, testing, and measuring lasers or complex optical systems.* Exceptional Lab skills: ability to prototype, test, and debug electronics* Experience in handling fiber, fiber splicing equipment including fiber polishing equipment.* Experience in Testing analog, power electronics, (RF) Radio Frequency, and digital circuits.* IPC 610 Solder Certification Preferred , some Soldering neededOTHER REQUIREMENTS:* High school diploma or GED * Pass Drug test & background check * Needed 1-2yrs experience - Testing and Development * Needed 1-2yrs experience - Electronic Testing * Needed 1-2yrs experience - Cable Harness Building & Routing* Preferred Certification current or expired IPC-A-610* Preferred Certification current or expired IPC-J-STD* Preferred Certification current or expired IPC-WHMA-A-620Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
