The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of experience and possess a high level of academic achievement, along with superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.Duties:Drafting, designing, implementing, and administering tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement plansDrafting, designing, implementing, and administering health and welfare benefit plansHandling executive compensation and benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitionsAddressing taxation issues related to executive compensation arrangements, including Sections 409A and 280G of the Internal Revenue CodeDesigning and drafting employment and other executive compensation arrangementsRequirements:3+ years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation mattersHigh level of academic achievementLaw firm experienceSuperb writing, drafting, and communication skillsEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the State Bar of Missouri (preferred)Skills:Strong understanding of tax laws related to employee benefits and executive compensationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents Ranked as one of the Best Client Relationships firm and as one of the top Best Known Firms in the nation, the attorneys in this firm are invested in understanding their clients? businesses from all angels, including the risks, challenges, and issues affecting their industries.
