If you're ready to join a dynamic team that drives change and makes a difference, Nexteer welcomes you About the role Nexteer is looking for a Global Purchasing Finance Director, which is a key position in the purchasing organization that reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer and has significant exposure to the senior leadership team. We are looking for an innovative, self:starting individual who is interested in the fast:paced environment of a tier one automotive supplier. This position requires an individual who has prior finance experience in a manufacturing environment, prior supervisory experience, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable information. A strong background in financial analysis and reporting is required. This position is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Key Responsibilities stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Provide material performance analysis in support of FP and A and Investor Relations via the monthly forecast, the annual budget and long:range financial plan, as well as ad hoc requests.:Assist in facilitating monthly divisional material performance reviews. :Council employees globally on financial processes, policies and procedures.:Core team member of Global Supply Management digitalization team that drives transformation of global financial analysis and reporting by collaborating with global cross functional team:Develop presentations for Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors:Drive global alignment between finance and GSM.:Track commodity indices and work cross:functionally to understand variances between customer recovery/supply base cost.:Support all internal and external audit activities and information requests, including Internal Control, Internal Audit, IATF, Tax, Customer Audits, Compliance, Legal, External Affairs, PC and L, Customs, Sustainability and Insurance. :Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).:Support global data requests for cross functional teams:Lead and develop material performance reporting team through ongoing employee training, feedback, support and recognition.
