Our successful Entry-Level Financial Advisor candidate has a passion for developing long-term relationships and an interest in financial data, estate planning, business administration, mutual funds, and more. Responsibilities: • Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor• Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives• Consider clients’ life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needs• Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals• Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members Qualifications: • Basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessary• Superior communication, relationship building, and math skills to establish a strong foundation of customer service for all clients• Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is needed• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is required• Up-to-date FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 documents are a bonus Compensation: $75,000 at plan yearly About Company: When you join New York Life, you’re joining a company that values career development, collaboration, innovation, and inclusiveness.
