Position Overview: The Office Runner position is an integral part of corporate operations. This position comes with the responsibility of couriering between locations on Oahu and other administrative duties. This position comes with the potential for further career development and the opportunity to gain an understanding of various corporate functions. Essential Duties: Perform administrative and clerical duties to support corporate operations as instructed. Keep office and storage areas clean and organized. Perform courier duties between all company locations on Oahu, and pick up or receive deliveries from various locations on Oahu. Helps facilitate receipt of deliveries at the corporate office and may need to load/unload items. Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace. Consistent attendance is required. Must be able to manage time efficiently with limited supervision. Working Conditions. Work Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, occasional overtime. Equipment Use: Company Vehicle Laptop Mental and Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, pull up to 10 pounds. May be subject to bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and lifting such as retrieving and replacing materials, and supplies. Communication Demands : Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective internal and external communications. Internal Contacts: All levels of operational and administrative management. External Contacts: Vendors and maintenance providers Minimum Qualification Requirements: Skills/Knowledge: Math: Uses basic math functions to perform daily tasks. Reading: Must be able to read and understand various administrative documents. Licenses: Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract. Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience : Minimum 1 year related experience preferred, within construction or industrial services. Other : Working knowledge of Word , Excel, Access, Email. Adaptable to in-house software. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner.
