We are hiring for a General Labor Fresh Pack to help produce Birds Eye products at our Darien, WI manufacturing facility. You will report to a Team Leader Production and join a team of 830. You will develop a working knowledge of production processes You will develop a working knowledge of sanitation practices You will operate equipment intended to clean, prep, process and freeze vegetables You will operate vehicles such as spotter tractors, yard trucks or forklifts You will report deviations from product requirements to the supervisors or production leads You will visually inspects products for blemishes or other flaws, extraneous vegetable material or discolored units and acts accordingly to remove the flaws or stops the line You will stop production to report any serious deviation from requirements/specifications, or malfunction of line equipment You will maintain area housekeeping You will assist operators with startup, production, change over and shut down of production Any other duties assigned by management You will meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely You will meet the communication requirements to perform all responsibilities You will learn and follow food handling and packaging practices You will t learn and follow safe working practices You will learn and follow good manufacturing practices You will learn and follow blood borne pathogens control and practices You will learn and follow allergen control and practices You will have reliable/consistent attendance and attention to duties Must be able to work 12 hours per day Work is seasonal lasting 6 months You Have: Work in verifying temperatures Lift up to 50 pounds, standing and sitting for up to 12 hours You will follow written and verbal instructions Conagra Brands is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to sex, race, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, pregnancy, leave status, disability, veteran status, genetic information and/or any other characteristic or status protected by national, federal, state or local law.
