Environmental Technician - Seasonal Requisition Number: 2024-1610-07 We are currently seeking a full-time seasonal Environmental Technician to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina . Job Snapshot: As an Environmental Technician , you will perform routine environmental field work and sampling. Under close supervision, assist the environmental scientist or senior/chief environmental technician. You will also perform field and office work associated with environmental and hazardous materials assessments. Perform basic field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, surface water sampling, sediment sampling, wetland delineations, stream classifications, benthic sampling, and fauna/flora identification. Maintain testing equipment in good working order and calibration.
