Job Summary: The Industrial Cleaner at TimberTech plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing cleaning duties within the production facility to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Facility Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning tasks in manufacturing areas, including sweeping and use of the Central Vac System. Clean production equipment, machinery, and tools. Ensure cleanliness of workspaces Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly. Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to support product quality and safety. Report any issues or irregularities observed during cleaning that may impact product quality or safety. Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks. Identify and report safety hazards or potential risks to the Production Supervisor. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule cleaning activities without disrupting production schedules. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred. Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing. Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols. Effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members. Working Conditions: The Industrial Cleaner may work in an industrial manufacturing environment that may involve exposure to dust, chemicals, and loud machinery.
