This is a great opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to begin their career within the logistics and transportation industry. In this role, you will oversee a team of drivers and coordinate their schedules and routes to maximize efficiency. You will be responsible for monitoring driver performance and ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise. Responsibilities * Plan and allocate driving routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines * Monitor driver performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and adherence to safety guidelines * Coordinate with truck maintenance department to schedule regular inspections and repairs * Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies * Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training as needed * Investigate and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to delivery * Collaborate with other departments, such as warehouse and procurement, to streamline operations and address any inventory discrepancies Requirements * Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field * Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team * Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety guidelines * Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Proficiency in using transportation management software * Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Schedule * Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm * Hybrid work from home schedule.
