Join Our Team as an Engagement Clinician! Are you passionate about breaking down barriers to mental health services and fostering community connections? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Engagement Clinician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing engagement strategies that enhance access to mental health care, especially for underserved populations. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Collaborate with the community engagement team to design impactful outreach strategies. Community Focus Groups: Facilitate focus groups to gather insights on specific mental health topics. Consumer Interaction: Work directly with consumers to address and overcome appointment non-compliance. Barrier Identification: Identify and solve barriers to accessing mental health services. Community Screenings: Conduct screenings and link individuals to necessary care. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders. Project Reporting: Provide updates on project strategies and outcomes to inform organizational strategies. Educational Outreach: Deliver seminars to community providers on effective mental health service access. Outreach to Underserved Populations: Target outreach efforts to underserved communities to improve service access. Data Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on engagement and outreach activities to guide strategic decisions. Team Collaboration: Work with other teams to ensure project timelines are met as outlined by MIMPIS. Support Services: Provide backup support to Access and Crisis services. Consistent Presence: Maintain regular and predictable attendance to support the engagement team's mission. Qualifications: Required Education/Certification/Licensure: Crisis Clinician I: Master's degree. Limited Licensed Masters Social Worker (LLMSW), Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP). Crisis Clinician II: Master's degree. Fully Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Fully Licensed Psychologist (LP). Crisis Clinician III: Master's degree. Fully Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Fully Licensed Psychologist (LP) and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Children's Services: Must meet qualifications as a CMHP per MDHHS provider guidelines, with at least one year of experience working with children if performing duties within Intensive Crisis Stabilization Services (ICSS). Preferred Education/Certification/Licensure: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Family & Marriage Therapy, or Psychology with licensure in the State of Michigan.
