The Waypoint Cinema and Restaurant is looking for BOH staff The Waypoint Theatre in Big Sky is looking to expand our kitchen staff!Are you looking to make Big Sky your permanent home? Challenged by seasonal jobs and housing? We are looking for 1-2 experienced full time year round back of house employees. This position comes with a housing opportunity here in Big Sky. Come join our fun laid back crew and enjoy a great schedule in a beautiful place while you make money!Benefits include but are not limited to:Housing in Big Sky$20-22 DOE plus tipsShift mealEmployee discountFree moviesResponsibilities:- Prepare ingredients for cooking- Cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications- Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner- Monitor food stock levels and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages- Maintain a clean & organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients & equipment- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesRequirements:- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or kitchen setting- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
