Job Duties: Translate business and user needs and technology constraints into software solution concepts that are meaningful, easy to use, and engaging. Design products from high level concepts through the development process. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure vision and execution alignment. Influence product teams and the organization to achieve customer solutions. Follow existing design systems and style guides to create mock-ups that ensure a consistent experience. Design new components or patterns to the existing design systems and style guides. Use research data, design principles, or other objective information to support and promote design decisions and recommendations. Participate and occasionally lead usability testing sessions, and interpret data to use in designs. Demonstrate knowledge of our design processes by effectively working through the correct process for each design. Create information architectures, task flows, user interaction models, wireframe screen flows, prototypes, detailed designs, design briefs, design specifications, and guidelines with little direction. Lead and support discovery of the project lifecycle, including planning and conducting workshops and stakeholder interviews, analytics, audits and benchmarking. Participate in design team critique sessions to provide feedback on other designers? work.Requires a Master?s degree (or foreign equivalent) in information studies, user experience, graphic design, or related field; plus 12 months of experience in job offered or similar occupation. Bachelor's degree plus 36 months of experience accepted in the alternative. Requires demonstrated experience in: Design, including multi-platform application, product, graphic design, digital media, or similar; Wireframing and prototyping tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Framer, Invision, or similar); Conceptual diagrams; User journey maps; User flows; Information architecture; Cross-platform flows; Storyboards; High-fidelity prototypes; and User research methods and analytics to guide product design direction. Also requires knowledge of: User-centered design product development; Data collection techniques and design products based on data analysis; and Mobile interface design across multiple operating systems.
